This is part of a collection called "Breath of Fresh Air". These photographs were taken by me in Crested Butte Colorado, transferred to wood, embellished with various metal cut-outs, and embossed with detail.
I played with the contrast of the natural rustic look of the wood and clean well defined lines and quality of the metal when adding detail to the photographs. The metal additions were playful representations of my experiences in Colorado over the years. Inspired by rustic art in various galleries out West.

These pieces are large pieces of wood with a wire attatched to the back. This can be used for hanging, or it can be placed on a shelf. The backs of these pieces have four nails on each corner that holds the hanging wire which creates a space between the wall and the actual wood piece. These nails can be removed if you wish for the piece to be displayed in an alternate way.
For long lasting color keep out of sunlight. If you would like to protect your piece from sunlight and other outdoor factors, please let me know and I will cover the piece in a protective sealent.
